Company Milestones

1984 Founded by Jim and Nancy Spoor.
1985 Spectrum releases HR/2000 (DOS).
1986 Strategic Marketing Partnerships established with Bank of America, AETNA , BNA, and Pentabs.
1987 Strategic Partnerships established to provide translated and localized versions of Spectrum products internationally.
1992 Spectrum introduces HRVantage® (graphical) at Comdex along side the announcement of Microsoft® Access.
1992 HR/Pay released.
1994 Spectrum Achieves Microsoft® Solution Provider Status.
1995 Spectrum launches HRVantage for Client/Server.
1996 Spectrum delivers TDVantage®.
1997 Spectrum achieves Microsoft Solution Provider Partner Status.
1997 Vantage Connect Module for HRVantage released (First employee self–service module on the market)
1999 Strategic Partnerships expand to 18 workforce partners.
1999 Spectrum launches iVantage®, first fully web–operational HRIS.
2001 Spectrum becomes a Microsoft Certified Partner.
2002 Spectrum becomes a Crystal® Decisions OEM.
2003 Spectrum’s iVantage Connect Module earns the Microsoft .NET Connected Status
2003 Ad Hoc Reporting (reporting over the Internet) released for iVantage in Version 3.3.
2004 Spectrum’s iVantage product one of the first in the world to be SQL 2000 Certified.
2005 Spectrum Ranked Denver’s 5th Largest Software Provider in the March 7 – 11, Denver Business Journal.
2005 Workforce Magazine ranked Spectrum 6th among its Top 13 human resource management systems (HRMS) providers in the United States in its March 13, 2006 issue.
2005 Spectrum’s iVantage product became SQL 2005 Certified.
2006 Spectrum ranks Denver’s 7th Largest Software Provider in the March 10 – 16 2006 Denver Business Journal issue.
2006 Spectrum CEO, Jim Spoor, received IHRIM Summit Award.
2006 iVantage 3.6 was released with increased functionality including succession planning.
2006 Spectrum CEO & Founder, Jim Spoor, retires.
