Professional Services Developer

Duties:

Our Professional Services Developers work directly with our clients and internal Professional Services Consultants and utilize their analytical skills, web and database development expertise, and system functional knowledge to develop procedural and technical solutions for their business needs.

In this position, you will use your functional and technical expertise, along with the latest technology and tools, to support implementations of Spectrum’s web–operational HRIS software application. You will work with our clients and Professional Services Consultants to determine business requirements, write technical specifications, assist with proposals and estimates, perform software modifications and complex system configurations, perform electronic data conversions, and demonstrate your testing and documentation proficiency to provide a successful implementation experience. You will be responsible for client and internal communication, individual project scheduling, creating high quality deliverables, and ensuring project deadlines are met.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate may possess a background in business application software development, or have several years prior experience in development or maintenance of software applications. Technical experience developing or implementing Spectrum, ADP, Ceridian, Ultimate, Best, Kronos, NuView, Lawson, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, JDEdwards, and/or any other HRIS package highly desired.

Must possess outstanding oral and written communication skills, have the ability to manage multiple projects, and be able to shift with changing priorities. Experience with MS SQL Server, ASP, JScript, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, and C# desired. Should be self motivated and be able to work effectively on independent or team projects. Bachelor–s degree strongly preferred. Must be willing to travel 10–25%.
